About Yep! That was my room for three nights ~ the one smack in the middle of the picture! It really appealed to my sense of symmetry as I looked straight down the middle of the ornamental steps, across the circular pond, (surrounded by those little flowers you see in the foreground), and on down over the wooded hill to Torquay below! Brilliant!! This shot was taken on my last afternoon, around 5 o'clock, just as the sun came out.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet today ~ nearly yesterday!! I've had a meeting all morning, church leaders' lunch, then I've been in my office till now working on the Harvest Thanksgiving service for tomorrow ~ nearly today!!

I'm looking forward to it immensely! The church will be decorated up with non-perishable food that we'll give away to a local charity, we'll have some great music and songs from the band, and a multi-media presentation including video, music and slides.

Anyway, my apologies for not catching up with your latest work just yet. It'll probably be Sunday evening before I can do very much!

Have a great Sunday, however you spend it!

Best regards,

Chris

What a blessed man you are to have stayed in such an elegant place! The architecture is amazing!
I will be praying for your church and the activities of which you speak. May God bless all who are involved in abundance and may the Spirit of Christ be evidenced by the lost and seeking, that they may come to know Him.
Blessings to you and yours.

Really nice shot, Chris. I like the split between the shade and the sun. ~~ Debby

Good luck, Chris, thanks for the update! That certainly looks like a stately old mansion to spend some time in! Nice shot of it, too! You caught all the details perfectly.
Dave.

Hi Chris; I love the detail, lighting, and character of this building-- very British looking-- and I mean that in a very positive way. As the photo unfolded it struck me that all the chimneys and roof peaks were reaching to the heavens. A very nice photo.

Thanks for your very complimentary comments on my B&W for Roger. Cheers. Craig

Beautiful old world charm, architecture with chraracter. Lovely the way the light is making its way across from the right. Even the fine delicate detail of the foreground flowers is apparent.
