what a nice coincidence, dear Kim...
i was asked a few years ago to join Saint Claire's monastery... as from 'Clara' that worked at the time Francis of Assisi was present in Italy spreading the words of the Lord.
i was studying Journalism that time, and declined the generous invitation made by Don Gerardo Wanderley in Brazil, who called this nun from Claire's barefoot monastery, named Celeste, to join one of our meetings and invite me over to be a nun as well...
sweet moments of Peace and learning shared...
and Gregorian Chanting too!!! *wink*
Don Gerardo Wanderley is also a gifted Gregorian music teacher... it was great fun the time i took his course at Sao Bento's Monastery and sang along with the Community's Chorus!!!

' Clara' It is my older sister name. ' Clara' It is a blockade nun sisters of the assisi. The assisi is the beautiful city. I am Franciscan family. I did a travel Italy 5 times.

see... if i had accepted Don Gerardo Wanterley's and sister Maria Celeste's invitation, i would be also a Clara's sister AND part of the sweet Franciscan Family -- just like YOU, my Friend!
what an amazing coincidence!
i also have visited Italy some times and fell in Love with the Eternal City and last time i stayed at Vatican City!!!
i was trapped in the appartment when the earthquake came out... and the Assisi Saint Francis Sanctuary collapsed!
luckily i phoned a good Friend, Paolo Borella, from RAI Television, and he came to rescue me!
i can still recall the roar coming from the depth of Earth....
