About I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.
(John Muir)

This grassy area is usually under water but today it was low tide and we were able to walk all the way to a big rock to get some pictures. Cove Island.

Looks like a wonderfully interesting place to stay out in until sundown. You compose these so nicely with strong lines and angles. The two little people back there are perfect exclamation points for a beautiful statement.

Querida amiga De Leo y escribo: Excelente foto de un bonito lugar, me imagino que esa zona debe ser visitada por muchas aves acuaticas migratorias y por mosquitos tambien.

Hi Alison, IMO, there's a distinct division in this photo in two parts; the background, including the two people and the grassy area in the front, that I think splits the image into two parts. I find the foreground the most attractive of the two, for which the background is a bit redundant. Still, the foreground is beautifully captured, with the diagonal in the stream. I'm glad it takes up most of the image. The background kind of disrupts that image, but would make a nice panoramic river bank view on it's own.

For me, the wind swept foreground would suffice, and that area alone makes this a beautiful shot. Very well captured.

Cheers,

hugo
