About This is another image of The Cobb at Lyme Regis, Dorset in England, taken just after dawn. In typical fashion, what looked like a potentially good dawn was drowned out by thick grey cloud so I decided to up the ISO to 400 to create a grainy image and make the most of the misty atmosphere. I use a two stop hard ND grad and an 81B warm-up filter. As ever, no PS work other than curves, saturation and sharpening.

Ditto comments as to your previous shot, and in addition, like the color saturation boost in PS. Slight touches on the PS have added to the shot.

Really dig that person out there on the end.

Barry,

I must confess that as soon as I saw this I thought "nice photoshop"....knowing you did this with the ND and 81B makes this an incredibly impressive shot. You should be quite proud!

Very nicely done.

One of our favourite places, Barry!!
Very nice shot, despite the typically English weather!
Kind regards, Chris
Thanks for your recent comment!

the contrast between warm and cool colors, your eye following the rough stone curve of the breakwater to the soft blue green of water . . . very nice
