One of the most appealing shots in your portfolio. Magnificent depth and colours. Makes me want to be a farmer, move to Virginia and live off the earth (unfortunately I would starve to death within a week)

Best regards, Magnus

Now this is summer in the country. Fresh lush greens and golds with a deep blue sky full of wonderful thick clouds. I can practically smell the air and hay. Fantastic depth and saturation Rebecca. Beautiful capture!

You know I didn't even have to look at the name to know it was you who took this picture. Rebecca you just take awsome photos. Just awsome!

The "wizard of oz" film in color came to mind upon my first glimpse..LOL..guess it is because of that wonderful moody light..love the foreground interest and the max DOF..picturesque rural image,Poe..like a painting..Shameless (7+)

Jimmy Payne   {K:21163} 10/7/2004
Our instructor told us in class today that we better have repeating shapes in all photo other than portraits that we turn in. This one would get an A for sure. But not if you turned it in as a landscape. His first intruction was no man-made objects in our landscapes. Regardless of what he says, this is a beautiful "landscape" photo.

Piper Lewis   {K:82} 10/7/2004
Stunning color scheme Rebecca! I dont know which I love the most..... the brillant blues in the sky and our Blue Ridge mts or the lust greens of the fresh mowed hay. Looks like Jeff's parent's back yard.

Trish McCoy   {K:20979} 10/8/2004
colors here are amazing. just lovely.

Pat Ziegler   {K:21592} 10/15/2004
I like it. This is such an everyday scene here in South Dakota, less the mountains. I would be so tempted to fiddle with the sky. I'd like to see it in more of a panoramic frame at wide angle. Maybe have the first bail in the extream foreground. It is a good shot though..

Fadel J   {K:13605} 10/17/2004
Wonderfull colors, great balance between the land and the sky, I love that sky!

Peter Godden   {K:745} 10/20/2004
