Hi Jeanette, There are quite a few things that I find very appealing in this shot. First, the various textures; secondly, the combination of tones and hues, and last, but not least the well balanced composition. Very nice shot. Simple, and effective. Capuring only a selective part of the whole creates the strenght here, I think.

I'm prettu amazed by your color vision. You are one of the most unique photographers on this site. I wished I could possibly comment all your works. You have an astonishing ability to see the beauty even in a decaying metal or wood. That is a blessing. What I also like about your works is the almost dialectical unity of symmetry and assymetry.
