About Borrowed an old digital camera from a friend (forgot which type). Hence the poor quality...
Shot on Helgoland, a very small german island far into the North Sea. In WW II it was of strategic importance (and bombed by the Allied forces). I think this is a remnant of a military pier.

mark, no comments yet? how odd. this is excellent! nice graphic composition. love the dof, sharpness in the fore and esp. the saturation bump. the bits of kelp are a bonus and offset the bright orange rust very well. btw, the quality looks fine to me. in abstract shots like this i don't think it matters much anyway. excellent work!

take care,
tom

I like the contrasts: vertical/horizontal, focus/out of focus. Plus the rich colour and texture, beauty in the beast!
