Totally wonderful picture.
I like the way the lines of the bird actually match and somehow mirror the lines of the tree. The background is really nice, and I like the shadows on the bird, - giving depth.
Excellent one!!

Beautiful image. The tree gives the photo such lenght and the light has been captured well on the tree and the bird. Very nice photo.

Super shot Manuel. I particularly like the sloping branch which seems to be supporting the branch that the heron is perched on. My only small gripe is the small broken branch at the top right. Obviously it is part of the scene but I would have brushed out. 7

Very good pic, a nice size space around the heron, the tree looks great dark and the shadowed bird enhances the morning/dusk feeling. Maybe see what it looks like with a bit of colour injected into it? Good one Manuel

Wonderfully seen and realized Manu!!!
I studied storks migration to get few shots and after long time I catch them in four shots to show their wildlife.
Shadows and lights made the PHOTO!

I agree with you, a very good shot. "The invention of Sollitude". Quite a sad image, where did all the other birds go. I love that the image format is vertical, getting a bif part of the tree. The composition is better than good.
