This is a lovely shot and expresses the feeling of the elements - earth, wind and water. I think it would be even better with a bit more fire, ie colour. I have tried this to show what I mean, I hope you don't mind.
Best wishes, Jonathan

It is a pleasure because I really like the feeling of the photo. I opened it in PhotoShop (I use an old version: PS 4.01) and by going to image>adjust>hue/saturation I increased the overall contrast by about 30% - I can't remember exactly, just chose the amount that looked right. Well it didn't quite look right because the sky was too cyan and not different enough from the sea. So I selected the part from the horizon up and back in hue/saturation I chose cyan and shifted the hue towards blue. Finally I noticed the horizon was tilted slightly down on the right so I straightened it up using layer>transform>skew (I think the geometric transforms are under a different menu in later versions of PS). It sounds a bit complicated but actually takes longer to write than do it!
I hope this is helpful. Best wishes, and thank you for your kind comments, Jonathan.
