About Subject Background: Another night shot from Venice, this time in a garage. Apart from the spiral geometry, you might find two "interesting" details (slight hint: a pedestrian and two VERY scary looking parts, leave this up to your imagination). This is the first part of a mini series I will start with spirals.

The title refers to one of my personal faves in my portfolio: Peope in Spirals. (http://www.usefilm.com/image/461056.html)

Photoshop concept: Changed the toning to BW and the back to a more cold color. Worked with Neat Image on the heavy grain.

As always: Honest feedback highly appreciated.

Verena Rentrop   {K:14417} 10/11/2004
Hi Thilo,

Verena

I like it and the attendant mystery. The geometry is very nice to me because it is not too regular, leaving the structure itself somewhat organic.

Uwe Bachmann   {K:10222} 10/11/2004

It actually resembles "our" operating rooms which maximizes space by having multi- levels..on my planet that is ;> ..LOL..my eyes locked on the 2 "covered bodies" first off, then i spied the person on the other level..Motorcycles! Too cool,Thilo!..very keen eye,my friend..love the tone, repetitive curves, contrast is perfection and of course the comp..This one says Thilo-style!..regards,gayle (7+)

Patrick Jacobson   {K:29151} 10/11/2004
What a great composition.. really moody!! Love the abstract part here.. great idea! =) Superb add with the one walking.. im not so sure about the motorcycles.. would have been perfect i think without those! Still a supershot though.. Superb details, tones and light.. 7++ well deserved!

I added you as my friend.. want to follow your work! Add me if you feel the same! =)

Cheers
