You always have your camera. That is why you never miss a fantastic shot like this one. Super superb lighting. The colours are amazing especially the blues on the water. This is so wonderfully summery. I can hear the birds and the little fishies jumping about.

Dear Rebecca,

I love such landscape scenes and this one is very beautiful. Great work.

Regards, Gerry

Dirck DuFlon   {K:35779} 10/14/2004
Lovely and serene... I love the dappling of sunlight through the trees and on the groundcover, and the patches of reflected blue sky make for wonderful punctuation! On a day like this you don't need a paddle anyway - just drift along on the gentle current, snapping as you go!

Patty Morena   {K:16598} 10/14/2004
Excellent landscape picture; great colours.
My best regards
Patty

Dorothy Di Liddo   {K:13766} 10/14/2004
Lucky for us you haad your camera. This is Stunning! Looks like an oil painting. Dottie

Ken Alexander   {K:3905} 10/14/2004
Beautiful scene, great composition, Rebecca! Were there actually that many patches of red tones, or were they "artistically enhanced" in Photoshop? Either way, good job, since I can't tell!

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 10/14/2004
Ken, I did hit the little button that says enhance..which brightened the colors some, which I try on all mine. Sometimes I keep it, sometimes I don't, depending on what I'm trying to portray. In this case, it did enhance the blues and reds..but they're actually all there, just better. The lighting was natural. I was going to try to load the original to show you, but couldn't size it small enough and I have to leave for work. Maybe later . Thanks for the lovely comment.

Jimmy Payne   {K:21163} 10/14/2004
A fantastic landscape shot, Rebecca. Regardless of where the colors came from, they are simply gorgeous.

Del Metheny   {K:25369} 10/14/2004
A camera is better than a paddle any day...Very nice photo. Del.

Khaled Mursi Hammoud   {K:52411} 10/14/2004

Alison DuFlon   {K:36165} 10/14/2004
This is really peacful feeling, I love the sun peeking through the trees and the way the water goes fron calm to rippled. Alison

Ray Patrick E. Garcia   {K:1643} 10/15/2004
You captured the landscape very well Rebecca. The colors are brilliant and so is the lighting. I could almost hear the water flowing on this creek. Nicely done Rebecca!
