About Another shot from Granary Wharf in Leeds.

this is one of the many tunnels that is used for daytime parking (I think) but at night these horrible pointed gates are closed so you can never really go in and have a look around. I guess it's private property so fair enough.

It's taken with a big aperture (5.6 I think) to get the back blurred a little - didn't blurr as much as I woul have liked, but it hopefully it looks like a tunnel you get in those shoot them up games like Halo and Doom - long corridors with demons up each alley.

Cheers

Yeah very good Ade, i can see where you're going with this one.

It does have a feel of something you would find in area 51 or something???

I like the fact that you have the diagonal markings just behind the gate on the wall, that definately makes it looks like it could be Doom-eqsue!!

Cheers

If it rais again on a tuesday we culd just go down there as its all under cover... and dear 2 good pubs.

I tried to bring out tose diagonal markings a bit by dodgeing but still seem a bit dark on my screen.

May bring thm up a bit later.

Of to the woods to get some nice leaf shots - should be lovely copper colour by now

Cheers

Great capture Ade, it just invites you in wanting to take some more :-)

I've had a wasted day waiting for a new freezer to arrive - all day delivery but they wont tell you when it will arrive exactly .. somewhere between 0800 to 1800 and it is now 4pm lol

I wouldn't have minded if I was awaiting a Canon EOS 20D but I cannot store frozen veg in that

Hope you got out and caught some golden leaves between the showers ?

Steve

Hi Steve,

Finally got out after the rain stopped, just to a little wood up by IKEA. I got through 2 cards, so that's probably 150+ shots. Most are of leaves and litter, though some nice long exposures of the stream at the bottom.

Was the first excursion with the new tripod and head. Different but pretty good. You just use it like a PC joystick, and when you let go of the trigger it locks in place. Quick to use really.

I've attached one of the stream shots here - just cropped the top out as it was a bit overexposed - but it's pure and un-photoshopped for a change!

Cheers and I bet the freezer turns up at 1800! Sod's Law

Hey up

Here's one of the many leaf shots I got today - this is straight from the camera.

Any joy your end?

Ade
