Hi Jeanette; this is a rather disturbing image with elements of both the divine and the satanistic. It makes one stop and look-- and think-- and in this respect it is a successful photo. You've done a good job photographically.
Thanks for your comments on my recent "fungus" picture-- it's a lichen, a type of fungus and a close relative to mushrooms. Lichens typically grow on wood-- living trees as well as rotting wood. This one is the biggest I've seen-- about 1/2 M across. Cheers. Craig
