Hi Mary Sue, a tad soft, but man! I dig the tones and saturation in this photo. Pure gold....:) It seems a bit slanted counter clockwise, but that might just be me.

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Mary, love the way this jumps off the page at you. I can imagine how you must have felt actually being there. Did you use a POL filter?

Thanks to everyone for your kind remarks on this image. The original does look quite sharp (shot in RAW mode) but I agree that this looks soft here.

Neil, I did use a polarizer. It really poppped the colors, especially in the sky.

Jim, this was shot on September 26th. It sounds like our trips overlapped a bit. Maybe you will be in some of my photos!

Gerry Pacher   {K:7297} 10/31/2004

Mary, really really thanks for the help with my ps problem, you're help was really great!

As for this picture, i like the yellow colours in de trees, and de reflextion in de water is amazing. The blue sky with the straight clouds behind the mountains is really really magnificent!

Fantastic work MAry!
With no bushes in lower left corner it might be even more prfect. It is a bit distracting for my opinion.
