Justin Schaller   {K:3781} 10/19/2004
WOW! I remember standing in that position looking back at my cousine thinking "God i wish I had my camera!" This is exactly what I had had in mind - Great composition!

Well Done!

Kostas Tzanetos   {K:22012} 10/19/2004
really nice shot,Mark! your framing and the addition of human element are very effective ;-)
...hmm,i just thought that it would make an interesting abstract if cropped just above the man's head :-P

my best regards!
kostas

Renata Lepage   {K:1189} 10/19/2004
Very beautiful!
I really like the verticality, and the guy looking up reinforce it.

Congrats!!!

Trish McCoy   {K:15897} 10/21/2004
oh my gosh this is way toooooooo cool. this is a great shot. superb.

Serge Moscow_in_Milano   {K:661} 10/29/2004
Impressive! I guess, man and construction are unnecessary here. Without them it'd be a great shot.

Mark Scheffer   {K:1809} 10/30/2004
What do you mean, Serge?

Serge Moscow_in_Milano   {K:661} 10/30/2004
I DO NOT mean, that you should delete these details in PS. I believe this approach unacceptable.
* * *
But both the man and construction not necessary in this composition, imho. These columns form very interestin geometry and colour atmosphere.

Mark Scheffer   {K:1809} 10/30/2004
Serge, what do you mean by construction?
And without the figure, the photo would lose meaning, don't you think? Or at least be boring...

Serge Moscow_in_Milano   {K:661} 10/31/2004
I mean something behind man.
* * *
this is discutable question. I believe, that this architecture fragment is interesting by itself. It need not additional objects.

B:)liana    {K:30945} 11/1/2004
Great one. How the Man is small in face of Human Work!
Kisses, Biliana
