How do you get them to stand still?

Chris Nichols   {K:7041} 12/21/2004
Ashley, I usually use key words that will get the dogs attention. With Wilbur, it's "Chicken." Because Wilbur loves anything associated with that word, he'll stand at attention. I will of course reward him when we are done. Sometimes that doesn't work and I will just wait for the right moment. I usually have to do that with my dog Sammy, but Wilbur and Layla are usually good with keywords.
