Hi Thilo,
also zuerst sah ich das fehlende Kinn,mmmhhh...
aber nachdem sich das ganze Bild aufgebaut hatte, macht der Beschnitt Sinn.
Dafür das es nicht so Dein Ding ist, ist es sehr gelungen, soweit ich es als Nicht Portrait Photograph beurteilen kann.

Fantastic smile from her.. she is really happy there! =) First i didnt like the crop but it works.. it really does.. =) Great tones and use of natural light (it looks like that). Great contribution to the project!! =)

Hi Thilo, i like this! Most people have commented on the crop, but i like it. Nice and tight. I would have preferred the space to be on the left hand side of the frame - so she is not looking out of the frame, but maybe this was not possible and you certainly couldn't crop her any tighter. diesen "verwegenen" anschnitt habe ich mir bei einigen portrait-spezies abgeschaut. früher hätte ich so was auch mit anderen augen gesehen... aber mittlerweile suche ich geradezu das ungewöhnliche ;-)

the back lighting is the sun, therefore it's quite natural ;-) this image was made at the deserted beach. September is not the time the Italians go for a bath in the sea ,-)

I'm really a happy guy to have that f1.4/lens. this gadget rocks the house, portrait-wise or in the night. this is where SLR kicks compact's butt hard. never believed that until I checked this by myself ;-)
