About I've had store owners/operators look unhappy when I ask to take a photo, and some refuse. A mobile camera doesn't seem to pose much threat though... the guy looks quite amused at the idea!

Amazing detail and balance of exposure, Roger!!
What kind of phone have you got? Nikon?!!
Best regards, Chris

No Chris - this must be a Canon mobile ;-)

Hi Roger, back to basics here I see. more of the japanese life, I still like these, but the sharpness is just not upto the 'proper' cameras.

Hope you are keeping well.

Keith

George Nader once said about the Chevrolet Corvair "unsafe at any speed". About the phone cam one could say "unsharp at any pixel" but the photo is stunning and impressing nevertheless considering the tiny glass knob it was shot with. You taught that thingy manors on can say, I saw $400 cams with much less good colours !

You may laugh, Chris, but the idea of a phone that can take pictures is not so silly. I take my phone EVERYWHERE, so I ALWAYS have it when I see something photographable. The best camera for any shot is the one you have with you--the others simply can't take it! The phone I use is a Sharp, which I was told has the best picture-taking abilities.

Yes, Keith. Definitely a "toy" camera. But a grade or two better than a Holga or a pinhole...

Very reasonable quality Rog.
