About The dark side in all of us, this shot was taken when I was feeling pretty blue, disappointed, somewhat angry. Everyone has a dark side to their nature. A passing emotion only, but an interesting one, nonetheless.

I was thinking of a red tint to myself, but it just looked too cheesy, no matter what I did. The arm on the left side of the shot is cropped because the camera is just off view.

I can understand the feeling. Right now I am feeling like that.

Glad to see some constructive use of that 'disappointment' feeling. Many people vent it in a distructive way. Its never worth it.

Hope you will begin to feel better soon.

regards,
ken.

Very scary yet sexy image Daniel...I would LOVE to know what prompted this emotion from you..

Thanks Ken, it's certainly a difficult thing to deal with. It's far easier, and far more tempting, to be destructive, but I've done that in the past, and it usually comes back to bite me in the rear :)

Thanks Carol, it's always nice to hear from you. It arose out of a few things, and I had wanted to do a mirror shot from a while.

Basically, I found out something (though I'm gathering it might have been wrong, we haven't had a chance to really talk in a while, she's been busy) from someone, a relative of a good friend, that seemed to be fairly impactful on the life of said good friend, and the good friend hadn't told me herself. It was mostly disappointment and bitterness, only fleeting but strong at the time. I've tried to start controlling my emotions more, and not leap to conclusions :)

Volatility can only get me into trouble, I know. But it's useful for trying new creative things, helps focus the mind a lot.

But thanks for your comment! It's always great to get feedback from you, really helps me to grow, and know what you like and don't like :)
