About The Mamba, one of the fastest roller coasters in the world. Taken at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, USA.

I used my wife's point and shoot camera - you are not supposed to take photographs for fear of losing equipment during the 75 MPH fall, but I secured it well.

After processing, Kodak was kind enough to put a sticker on the back of the print letting me know that the image was blurred with pointers on how to shoot a stable image. I think the shake really adds to the effect.

How nice of Kodak. They would have ruined this wonderful shot. Kurt

Kurt:

I was amazed that Kodak had attached a note. They have great customer service, and I was pleased to see them going out of their way to offer advice. In this case one size does not fit all - the blur was a natural by product of the action and represented the situation.

Hi Michael, That's such a nice service of Kodak. I got a few of those pointers myself... :) The blur does express the adrenaline during one of these rides very well. Nice shot; very dynamic and action packed; can't do that without the blur....

Cheers,

Hugo

Thats a shot you really dont have to worry about other people taking to often....You would take some cool shots for NASA...
