Good on him!! Young admiring females are very difficult to ignore (not that I have any experience of this of course!), so I admire this grumpy tom for trying. How long did he last before he succumbed to the Princess's charms?!

Alas, he has not succumbed as of yet. We have noticed improvement. Princess is now tolerated. Do not fret though, Princess is not discouraged by him playing hard to get and pays no attention to his protests. I feel she knows she will be victorious.
