About A great human being and the father of all DJ's has died. An icon and a legend in his lifetime, his death is an immense loss, to his family, music and musicians and his listeners (in that order).
This photo was taken by me while he was broadcasting live from the Vera club, during the annual Eurosonic Festival.

The late great John Peel. He had more conviction and quality as a music afiliate that the majority of celibrity seeking morons who claim some fame. He will be sadly missed but he left behind a massive legacy. RIP.
