I like this a lot Michael. I like really a lot: this has a great visual impact to me and I would really make a big print to hang if I was u.

bellissimi colori e contrasto, mi piacciono molto le nuvole che sembrano d'argento

I know I commented on one similar to this of yours before. It always gets my attention. I love the contrast and bold colors, great composition with this wide vertical angle and perspective. I love it, great work, cheers, nicole

Hi Michael, Awesome shot. I love those geothermic tones and the bacteria life around it... I knew they could tell the temperature by the colour of the bacteria; this also works in vaults in the ocean, and helps geologists to predict renewed activity.
The fumes towering out above the sky line is a very good touch, it breaks the division between sky and earth. Makes it a very powerful image....
Cheers,
Hugo

What makes this so interesting for me is that it's like nothing I have ever seen with my own eyes. It's such a beautiful, but bizarre scene... I need to go to Yellowstone! Looking at your pictures remind me how much beauty there is in the world! Wonderful gradiation in the water, captured well with the sharpness throughout and the lovely foreground tones.
