Beautiful fall scene, Paul - the silhouetted trees in the foreground add a wonderful contrast and linear structure to this image, as does the slope of the hills behind! It's like a black and white over a color composition. Great work!

Hi Paul,
the reflections make this image, that's for sure. awesome detail and colors. minor thing is the upper left area with the small blown-out spot. Personally, I would add a light frame around the image.

Thanks Thilo.. i was debating about cropping that portion out of the image but thought it would take too much of the trees..
I usually don't put frames around my images..I realize that when the there is white or light colors on the edges a frame can help but I usually keep it the way it is in the camera :) :)

Thanks for your comment.. I did try it without the sky which did look good.. guess I just wanted to keep the top branches of the tree on the left...cropping the sky did "tighten" up the image a bit which probably helps.

Excellent shot! Autumn is my favourite season because of the colours. Perfect reflection. You could have cropped just by the reflection point to divide this in two photos because the "original" and the reflection are so beautiful!
