Splendid! Very well done.

Nauman X   {K:194} 10/30/2004
This is truly a spectacular photo. I love the colours. Not much I can say to fix, maybe try recropping it in a different manner? I'm not sure if you even cropped it at all.
Great work though, I love it.
Nicely done.
-Nauman

Howie Mudge   {K:23894} 10/30/2004
very nice colours but composition needs working on in my honest opinion. Nothing in the foreground and cropping of the trees

Lou Dina   {K:12194} 10/30/2004
Agreed, Howie, but I was very limited due to the surroundings. I wish this tree wasn't surrounded by houses, streets, telephone poles, etc. If so, I am sure it would have been very different. This is the best I could figure out given the location. Thanks for the comment. Lou

Yusuf Guclu   {K:639} 10/30/2004

Utku Sarioz   {K:545} 10/30/2004
Great picture... It would be perfect with a wider crop but it is amazing anyway... What to say, bad luck..

Best regards... Cong...

Roberto Carli   {K:13689} 10/30/2004
Great colours, perhaps would crop just a little foreground to enhance the leaves and the tree colours, anyhow nicely done!!!

Don Loseke   {K:32500} 10/31/2004
Wow, this is outstanding the way the leaves have accumulated at the bottom of this tree without blowing away. They much have all come down at once. Don.

Dan Lightner   {K:12684} 10/31/2004
Lou funny I had the same idea today for a picture.

NN     {K:26787} 10/31/2004
WOW ... such a colourful scene! Well spotted! I agree with Roberto about the foreground. A lovely yellow circle!

Lou Dina   {K:12194} 10/31/2004
Thank you for the comments and suggestions, everyone. I struggled with how to eliminate distracting elements in this image. There were houses, telephone poles, cars and other components which I wanted to eliminate. I cropped the foreground as suggested a few times and I think this helps. I also added a black border to accentuate contrast and bring out the yellow leaves, but am not totally sure I like it.

Regards, Lou

Yutaka Itinose   {K:21311} 11/6/2004
Beautiful capture of autumn.Very very nice.

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 11/6/2004
Excellent recognition and use of color, Lou. The title is clever, too. I like the use of vertical format ? something not considered enough by many.

Stephen Bowden   {K:64516} 11/7/2004
Fabulous photo Lou and a wonderful capture. I see you have a new toy (or two) ... now I am very jealous lol

Best wishes,
Steve

Marion Luijten   {K:6172} 11/14/2004
Beautiful autumn colors, Lou!
I haven't read all the comments, but did see your other crop. In stead of cropping the bottom I think I would prefer a slight crop in the top as I think the sky in the high left corner is a bit distracting.
Marion

Lou Dina   {K:12194} 11/14/2004
Thanks for the comment Marion. I recropped it and removed the sky (which I agree added nothing and was distracting) and some of the foreground. I think this is an incremental improvement. The jpg compression was pretty high on this image, so I hope it posts clearly with some sharpness.

Lou

Peter De Rycke   {K:39324} 12/17/2004

Peter
