Great shot Tim!
The mast leaning left the horizon leaning right gives this photo an awesome felling of being on the open waters!

Hi Tim, Awesome atmosphere, and a very cool shot. Although I normally would comment on the tilted horizon, it does serve a very functional purpose here, as it emphasise the tension of the moment. The same basically applies to the tonal range, eventhough it's a bit limited, it does fit with the ominous and threatening atmosphere. Nice to see how the pieces fit together...

There is drama ! The off canted horizon is the first clue. B&W is good for this shot. The boat is old and the B&W helps date it for me. Good work.

Nice to see the move away from full color and its comforting to see that the weather is not always lovely and sunny...thought you were living in paradise for a minute...!?
I was wondering what the shot looks like if you had either the mast at vertical or the horizon at horizontal? To me it seems a bit neither here nor there. I haven't played with the image yet so the way you have it may be the best angle.
