About Subject background: Balconies in town, 1 square meter of freedom & fresh air for the people living in there. But they are rarely used or decorated as you can see. ;-)

PS concept: IR filtering, changed the toning with a color layer, increased details with a overlayed high pass layer. mild cropping. geometry workaround.

As always: Honest feedback highly appreciated.

Nice abstract. Buildings allways have so much to show... I like the shadows here.

Hi Thilo,

Verena

Hi Thilo...

Very nice geometric composition... The tones are great and I love the shadows of the balconies at the right... Very symetric and great texture...

I thinks this reflects our unused freedom... We are so used to be minding our own life and problems that we do not use our simple will to change our lifes and use or square meter of freedom...

I love too wander with your pictures... You make me see how our simple life reflects all our problems and our lack of humanism... which you represented very well here...

Cheers,

MaLuisa

P.S. I put the order today for my new D70... I will be receiving it by the end of next week. (It is going to be a long week... :( ). Cam you give some hints on it use????? If you wish you can write me at maluisavial@yahoo.com..... :)

Great simetry!
Very nice grey scale!
Greetings.

I like the image and i've seen it so many times. Buildings from the 60's one after another where people cramp together. It's a great but depressing photo.

I am impressed with the perfect composition. You fit the lines in just right. The shadows and tones are nice too. Looks so 'post modern'

Hi Thilo! Love the ideas behind your pics! Many people are living like prisoners ... and some are completely homeless. That?s life. Excellent abstract with perfect lighting/sharpness/tones!!!

Ursula Luschnig   {K:21809} 11/1/2004

Dear Thilo great concept shot, i gave u just a idea maybe better with square format cutting the last balcony... so is exalted the only one with plants.
But it's just a idea.
Ciao Efisio
