This is the holy shrine of Montseratt, just north of Barcelona in Spain.
Taken at about 11AM when there was still a haze around the hill tops, they are about 3500-4000 feet up in the sky so not too surprising.
The complex is impressive to say the least, but for me the huge dolomite style geology was the winner. Those humps are sedimentary rocks that have been wind worn to the shapes you see.
Incredibly steep.
the shrine is behind the curved wall you can see in the bottom middle of this shot.
