Marvelous picture with beautiful colors and contrast, Chris. Perfectly composed and presented. Very nice frame. But IMO you could improve it by cloning out the small white area at the lower right side of the leaf. I think this is too eye catching.
Anyway one of the best fall images i've seen the last time.

Oh..I feel sorry for this lonely leaf.. :-/ Poor one...and what's really sad is that the background seems so full of life and colours as they are having a party without this lonely guy!!!! :-/ Unfair...
BUTT ;-) I do like the photo...the colour of the leaf is stunning... so red!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Chris.
Excellent photograph.
By isolating the leaf with dof and contrasting that against the frame as well as the background, it makes the leaf look closer than the rest of the photo. Like those 3-D movies. ( remember those ?) You better be leaf it.

Autumn's colours are fantastic, and you really captured this REAL beauty in the red leaf!
