About This is a landscape version of the image I posted a couple of days ago. This time I used the boulder in the foreground to anchor the shot. The cows are still there but less of a feature due to the landscape format and wider lens. I used 5 stops of ND grad and an 81B warm-up to add drama to the sky and capture the dawn light.

All the things you say you did seem to have worked very well, it's very beautiful, great colors. Maybe it's just slightly oversaturated, though.

The mossy rock makes for a perfect foreground here. Love the rich golden color intermixed with green tones. Another 'award winner'! By the way, when is your book being published? :)

Matt Barclay   {K:315} 11/4/2004

great shot just love the contrasting movement of the clouds to the upward energy of the grass. Then the calming affect that the still water has.
excellent, Barry
