Latif: These are the Algodonnes dunes. They are in southeastern California just above the border with Mexico and adjacent to Yuma, Arizona. They are a recreational site (lots of traffic from dune vehicles) and it is difficult to find undisturbed dunes. Fortunately the wind solves this problem.
