About This required a not-so-easy climb part-way doen a cliff in force 9 0r 10 winds! I removed the colour soon after scanning as B&W really seemed to fit the mood.

As always, I love to read your thoughts and comments.

Thanks for viewing.

Very interesting shot! How did you manage the camera standing still at 9 or 10 winds even using a tripod for 15 sec?

Bart Aldrich   {K:7614} 11/4/2004

Excellent shot Daniel, i love these long exposures :) I see you have a great portfolio where i would like to spend more time, when i have it :)
Thanks for your comment on "The blue rope". I used to layers (B&W + Colour and then invert masked out the rope. If you know what i mean. Most people only think of erasing parts of the original and then are stuck if they make a mistake. I do it in a separate layer and then just paint either in Black or white. This way i can correct everything and add softness to the key if desired. By the way i use the same trick if i'm dodging and burning, always via a separate layer. Hope this make sense to you. Once again thanks and best wishes from Switzerland, Neil
PS Look forward to browsing through your work and seeing more of it.
Cheers Neil
