Wow Shady, Wonderful scenery from Cairo, I like this nile view a lot. Although I work at Kasr El Ainy Hospital which is next door to the hotel you captured this photo from since 1987, yet I didn't have the oppertunity to see this view at all. Bravo Shady, you'll make me go to take similar shots with my camera.

This is a spectacular view of the city Shady, this little island connected by the bridges, is very nice, full of trees. The area looks huge, how many people are there in the city? Alison

I have never seen a photograph like this of Egypt. Thank you for sharing this with us. So much to look at, fantastic image.

Thanks Alison so much for your comment, there about 20 million in Cairo (in the whole city of course not in this island only (: and the last I've heard about Egypt that it reached 70 million.
