Thanks for the comments, in norway its called Nordlys. The white line is the stripe after and airplane.

Wonderful shot Ketil, as mentioned before the portrait format and composition really do make this a very stunning picture. We in the UK were treated to the Aurora last night, but many missed it due to heavy cloud.
