Very nice Ning! If I was to suggest something I would use Unsharp mask here to bring out some more details on the petals.

Hey Michele, thanks for the comment. I just posted another one. Please take a look and tell me if this one brings out the texture better.

The Unsharp Mask didn't bring me much luck here. Probably still in the original lighting?

For now, let me stay with the pure B&W for a bit, just want to get the lighting and stuff right. Thanks anyway!
