About Taken once again on Greenhma Common, this maybe not the most impressive Dragonfly photo, but I liked the way I managed to capture the ripples left in the water as they dipped in and out of the pondas part of their mating dance.

Bikramadittya,

For some reason I hadn't thought of doing more than cropping the original. But following your suggestion I've applied some colour and contrast with PS Elements and attach the result. I think it does look better but always looses a bit of detail when I do this.

The attachment doesn't seem to have worked - trying again.

Oh, sex, sex, sex! :-)

I confess that I like the digital darkroom version a little better, but I think it's the composition that caught my eye in the first place.

Nice job, Neil.

An unusual capture, Neil! Amazing the difference in colours! Well done combination of a good basic shot and post processing.
Dave.

Lovely image of their mating dance - put "sex" in the title and you will get a lot of views (I bet)
