Sick photo... its nice to see yours because i have a n75 35mm and i might be getting a canon digital rebel so its nice to see what the canon can do. 35mm has great quality when u set it up right do u think its a good mive to sell my n75 and get the canon. also are u a photographer for mentality skateboards?

Brad,

I wouldn't go about selling your old set up right away. Film has great qualities that you might want to use. For instance, you may want to use a fish eye, and you won't be able to find one for the digi rebel, but you can always get one for the N75.

Is it a good idea? It all depends on what you're going to do with it. You said its nice to see that the Digi Rebel takes good photos.... but cameras are only as good as their operators are. You could have the best camera in the world and without the know how and knowledge of how to use it, your photos are going to be crappy. I think that I've come along way in my own photography thanks inpart to the instant gratification of a digital SLR. Is it worth it, yes. Will it MAKE you a better photographer, NO. You have to make your self a better photographer. For skate photos, it has helped me so much! But I have lots to learn in many other aspects of photography.

Mentality? Yes, I do submit photos to Mentality. I have a few on their website right now. I know the owner and their two riders pretty well. Hopfully I'll be able to shoot with them a little more this summer.

Peace
Toby
