About Silo no 5, Montréal, Québec, Canada, August 2004.

This picture was taken with a Certo-phot camera. It was built in East Germany about 40 years ago. The shutter speed is fixed and there's only 2 aperture to choose from (f/8 and f/11). It operates like an Holga camera. It is however a sturdier camera with its metal body.

The negative was scanned with an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner.

Thanks for your comments. Regards, Claude

Nice diagonal lines and great tone. An unusual and abstract perspective. Great vision.

never point the camera up a building like this -means: I like. BTW I like your Certophot shots, there are not so many photographers who use this iron tool. If you want so see my first results copy and paste http://www.wolkerstorfer.at/6x6/Certo-Phot/dresden.html greetings Andreas

second attempt to add a comment (I wanted to copy an url and than the comment thing doesnt work) - anyway, I like your certophot results, even if you point up the camera like here :)
