Great shot Tim. I read the title wrong and spent 5 minutes trying to find the Heron ;-) nice composition and colors as usual. I am wirking with a firm who has a contact person in BC. We spent a good deal of time talking about Hornby Island yesterday, he only confirms what you are showing.

well Jim,
there are plenty of huge herons hanging around over here, along with a plethora of other wild life...funny ya just kind of get used to it. When Herring season comes in the spring the wildlife comes out in throngs and I feel like a passenger in a New York subway, there is so many birds and animals waiting to feast its hard to breath. Hey if you ever have a chance you might want to venture up this way while our $ is on the cheaper side.

Super moody picture Tim. I love this whole setting, and the formation of the rocks that lead our eyes out to the little island. Excellent!
