Really cool idea for the picture, if you could extend you other arm as well you could touch the top of the other piramid (Just stand in the middle). I liked the original more too ;)

how funny! well done, my only suggestion if you can go back on this place is to use a zoom instead the lens u used here: the tele compression shorten the DoF and the effect you looked to capture would probably became much more realistic.
