About At the HNL Zoo, mid-morning. Good lighting for this animal portrait "with an attitude".

The ringtail lemur appears to be resting after a hard nite. Guess the expression indicates his dislike for photographers.

Great capture Luther! We have a few of these here at the San Diego Zoo and I have yet to get a good shot. I love how the color of the tongue and eyes came out.
Thanks for sharing!
Shawn

Shawn:

Thanks for the comment. This lemur in the HNL Zoo was just resting at the time and I was very lucky to get "tongue out" and "tired eyes"shot.

Aloha ... Luther

PS: It was just a point and shoot and the autofocus seemed to put the leaves in better focus. Fortunately, the error is minor, considering the alternative, a better focus and a lost shot. ..lc
