Hi Paul,
creative usage of the stone as a foreground "texture" for the great depth composing. interesting widescreen look and DOF. minor thing for me: I would love to see the mountain with a bit more room to breathe.

Hi Paul, great idea and very interesting. Love the angle and the extreme DOF. This isn't done justice by the thumbnail - you have to open it up to enjoy, as i did :)

Thanks Thilo, I am guessing your talking about the sky above the mountain.. I did crop this so I probably could have given it more space. I was just trying to make a more compact look to the image but I see your point as well.

quite fantastic perspective, I think it works very well, I don?t like so much this first plan so big...it really distrats me...i qould crop a litle I think...or maybe not...well...i don?t know ...but my eyes really stay to much in it...I think...regards.

Yutaka, thanks for your comments.. yes, I think f22 would have brought the foreground more into focus which may have been better.. although I do tend to like the out of focus foreground as well... guess both ways would be ok...

This is shot is wonderful. You're totally right. The angle is unique and the mirroring of the cobblestone hills and the "real" hills is great. I feel like I'm actually lying down on the road enjoying the view.

Hi Paul, Love the extremely low camera position and the apparent tilt. It's very effective and creates a very surreal view. That's what makes this shot tick; a very creative approach. The presentation is very effective. Inspirational shot; I have to remember this...:)

Thanks Hugo... glad that you like it.. your never sure how these kinds of photos will come out. I took a few others as well but I liked this one more because not only did it have the low perspective but it also had a different angle, instead of just pointing it straight down the road. One can still see the long road but it does not dominate the composition.
Well, your latest car images makes me want to go out and start taking photos of vehicles LOL :)

I might be under the influence of my "Nudes", but when I looked at your thumbnail (your photo did not open) the cobblestones looked to me like the lower abdomen of a woman. The photo, as far as can be judged from the thumbnail is excellently composed and its colors are beautiful.

Now the photo opened and the perspective is entirely different. THe cobblestones, at least thos close to the camera, are not in focus, as would be expected. The rest of the photo is as described above.
