About When I saw Alison's photos and read her texts about her photos, I feel deep inside me:"I should do it too"
Then, as when I wrote my first memories at 15, I found a new horizon. It is a new stage of my photography, and I owe it to Alison(God save her).
And also, when I saw Alison's "Friends" photo, Then I think deep inside of me again: "Who or what is my best friend?" and I reach to: "My Sitar"
Probably it could not talk to Me, But when I could not talk anymore, it's the the only thing I have. When I'm lonely, I play it, I enjoy it, I love it,I live with this Kind of matter called Sitar.
Then I decided:"Now it's the time I should do something for it"
Took my camera and captured it to frame, as nicely as I can.
The result is down here!
Finally: "Thanks God, Thanks Alison and Thanks My Sitar!"

Thank you very much Mohammad for the nice comments in your about, and I am glad that you have expressed your thoughts of the photo. You have done that nicely in your own words, where as mine are quotes by others. This picture that you have taken of your Sitar is very beautiful and so beautifully taken. The perspective, with the beautiful lighting and shadows has a very personal feel to it. You have conveyed nicely that it is something very special to you. It must be nice to be able to play an instrument like that. Alison

Hello M,
the photo is nice for several reason. A great perspective, a wonderful definition , an excellent depth of field, wonderful tones and a very harmonic composition.
This is really a very beautiful picture, my congratulations!

Excellent. A mysterious appearance for a so simple and though deep instrument. Very nice job. Congratulations.

Thanks to all of you, specially you Mr. gharib,
'coz I know you play this simple instrument very very good!

Joann Winborn   {K:12414} 11/30/2004
Very interesting perspective! I like the crosses in the background. Shadows, I assume.
Blessings to you and yours.

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 11/30/2004
Dear Joann,
First of all thank you for your comment,
and then, I want to say that in the prespective it's not a cross, it's just a little fence.
But God Bless all of us.

The lighting of the photograph really supports your text. The sitar is in the shadow, always there for you, not wanting to steal your spotlight. Like a true best friend would. Actually, I think that it is the lighting that makes this photograph special, having the subject in a shadow is truly creative, and difficult to photograph well. Nice capture.
