I agree with them.....

Nice catch. There is a feeling of liberation-- the passengers flying high above the very linear and cubic lines of the house. But the house corner has nice lighting that makes it feel 'safer' than being in a small cabin 12km above the earth!

Hi Jeanette, you are success in creat attractive forms. the harmonies of shot is exellent, i would also like it without the plane and think maybe it is better without it. very well composition with centeral point....> & about your courius of my comment on "Iii" . ya maybe it is because your new shots seems so different, and also the atmosphere of these shots , and the difference combine between these shots and your emotive captures, i told it. thanks for share your good Passions in art!

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59973} 11/20/2004
Kiarang, i have to admit that i was soo concentrated with the composing that i did not see this airplane, in the first place And i think it was of that reason i liked this one mostly (i have some without the plane as well) because it was outside my control - in the "click -moment". Control is otherwise a side i have....?!?!

i like your pic much (I imagine you watching the sky...!), but don't talk me about travel now, I just come out of a plane !

jennifer armstrong   {K:6688} 11/21/2004
Great shot, Jeanette. I love all the thoughts & stories that this photo evokes - with it's glorious sense of perspective & the bold & dramatic blocks of colour & shape. It's amazing how something seemingly so simple can make me consider so much. Wonderful. Beautifully done.

Verena Rentrop   {K:14426} 11/21/2004
clean, well textured composition...

the plane is the dot on the i :)

Cheers,
Verena

I understand and appreciate your compositions very well, but sometimes we must ask if there is purpose to the negative space. If the intended use is for advertising and that space is required for a text message or if it is to be a poster with a message on it, then the answer is yes, but as a stand alone picture maybe there are limits to this technique.

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59973} 11/21/2004
Richard - yes of course there are limits for this technique, and i totally got your point for a text on the negative space....etc. How i thought besides the fact that it a house roof and a sky - is that it is two spaces, one in light yellow and the other one in blue, as an abstract.
