Oh this creative and simple idea makes a wonderful abstract!!!! Love it!! the placement of the mirror the spots! It seems as if u managed to count them before taking the image to insure balance in the picture! love the colors too!

and now to something completly different....wie john cleese immer so schön gesagt hat, hm? schön, dass du immer wieder auch für solch gelungenen überraschungen gut bist. sehr schön mit den farben und der schärfe der linien dazu im kontrast. feine idee, hätte den rückspiegel des autos kaum für so fotogen gehalten bislang...

Hi Thilo, Excellent example where the subject in focus is of secondary importance to the out of focus parts. I also like the spot of lights in the mirror, showing the curvature nicely. Well balanced compostion, quite abstract and intriguing.

On my monitor, the tones seem a bit greenish; a crisper / cooler predominant hue might also work in this photo and setting. Personally, I would've pushed the blue and red levels a bit and reducing / desaturating the yellows. Obviously a subjective feeling, and I don't think it would affect the photo; It's your call, and I like what you did here. Alot!
