Location City -  Page, Lake Powell
State -  ARIZONA
Country - United States   United States
About This came to me by suprise, I was looking for a way to cross on the other side because the shore of Lake Powell looked a lot more interesting. While following the edge of that pond I noticed this great yellow rock that was just waiting to get captured. Again the greenish tint of the water along with the changing color clouds and the reflection made this an easy solution. Finally I had to get back in my truck and drive for 1/4 mile in order to find the right spot that would allow me to cross and reach the desired location.

LOvely composition, love the rock formation in the foreground, but then it leads to such wonderful swirls and curves and delicate colours

Lovely colours, strong composition, tremendous sense of depth (stereoscopic!), and technically perfect. I think I'll give up adding your pictures to my list of favourites. Quicker to put a bookmark in your portfolio and enjoy them all there... and of course all the goodies at Timecatcher.com, which always repays a visit.
