Terrific abstract. My family had a lava lamp this same color back in the 60's! You did a great job on this one.

The background was done with colored paper. this experiment was fun but not the cleanup!

The colour is amazing! Was the corn syrup poured onto glass with coloured paper in the background? I would love to know more about the process as well as the lighting. Very dramatic!

Hi Kim, yes corn syrup was poured onto a glass with paper lying on the floor.
