About It is me, my self, and i picture :) Those two are me taken by me :)
I will leave how did i do it to your imagination.
I thought of cropping the image a little, then i decided to leave my reflection on the T.V, to prove i was in three places in the same time ;)
Only some edges cropping done by PS, not a single PS touch to trick or to enhance, what you see is what came out of the camera ..
Comments are most welcome, Regards,

Regards

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 11/24/2004
Two pictures merged over one with a self timer.

Or one long timed shot where you stood on one side for one period of time and then moved over to the other side for another period of time.

So there are two explanations.

Whatever the case, fantastic idea. I like it. Similiar to Jim's ghostly images.

Judi

Hi Ameed,There are several ways to achieve this effect, anyway you did a fantastic job my friend
Excellent Idea and composition
Congrat.
Best regards

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/24/2004
You got half the trick, but you were wrong about posing for a period of time and moving to the cadre, the clarity wont be the same and it is only 1 sec exposure ;) i think i gave you something to think about :) waiting Judi, if there is any one to get it then it is u .. you are half the way to guess it :) Regards,

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/24/2004
You are right Zeev, i am just teasing my friends, it is easy to do it, had it in mind from sometime now, thanks for your kind comment, Regards,

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 11/24/2004
What is throwing me is the reflection in the TV. There are two reflections but there is something inbetween, almost to make me think the person on the right is the first shadow in the TV. I know that is wrong, but at this time of the night, the only other thing I can think of is two shots joined, but you said there is no PS to enhance or trick.

So okay Ameed. Let it rip.

Judi

// //   {K:6081} 11/24/2004
ameed,
i mean the same ,ton of the image is closed to your WB in your camera.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/24/2004
Sorry Hassan for this silly question, but what is the WB? Thanks

Jorge Garcia   {K:8733} 11/24/2004

regards

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/24/2004
Thanks Jorge for your kind comment, Regards,

Fadel J   {K:13605} 11/25/2004
Cleverly done Ameed! it looks like a crime scene :) are you sure you haven't done anything in PS, even blending 3 shots together? :)

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/25/2004
And the winner issssssssss Fadel Al Jaifi :) You got that right Fadel, they are 3 pictures not 2, one for the TV with the reflection, and a separated picture for each one of me :) and they got mixed all together in a panoramic software that comes with my Nikon '' not with the PS '' the PS was only for the cropping, didn't edited the tones or the colors.
I know i played a little with words, but it is only to make it interesting .. and you got it right .. kesebt el geneeh el dahab ;)
Kindest Regards brother ..

Enas Moussa   {K:7470} 11/25/2004
nice work Ameed.. u r playing good games in here!! its nice to know u still remember Tarik 3allam's silly programme!!
nice work but i wish u've adjusted the angle shwaya before cropping coz ur TV is about to fall down!! well done dear.

H@shim A   {K:2195} 11/25/2004
This is slick...

The expression on *both* of you adds to the illusion of real interaction between the two.

Well thought out and executed. I'm not sure of the technique, but if this is PS... it's done well.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/25/2004
Hi Enas, yeah of course i remember it :)
Well you are right about the TV, but unfortunately this is one of the problems when joining panoramic multiple pictures, they are never 100% horizontal, good eye capture, Regards,

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/25/2004
Thanks Hashim, I've explained in a previous comment how i did it :) Thanks for your kind comment, Regards,

P. Christine Skinner   {K:27338} 11/26/2004
Nice work. Two of you is even better than one :-). I love the warm golden retro colours and style. A creative mind at work.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/26/2004
Ohhhh Look who is back :) Thanks Ahmed for explaining to me, actually after his comment i went to the photography glossary site, i book marked it and will try to memorize all of those terms :) Thanks Ahmed for your support and comment. Regards,

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/26/2004
Actually Christine, if you looked at the TV, you will find a reflection for the third me :) Regards,

S.D Holmes   {K:7075} 11/26/2004
Hey those two guys look really look alike :) this is great ameed - very creative

Gerhard Busch   {K:12057} 11/26/2004
Thanks for your comment on my picture > high Court<
However....Michael Jakson with female chest, that would be the last step of many with its cosmetic operations. The idea with your double person I find very original, must me however much to the color and the distortion of the perspective accustom. Regards Gerhard

Riny  Koopman   {K:19998} 11/26/2004
Very creative Ameed...Nice to meet you..Thank you.
Best always...Riny.

Hi Ameed,
Nice to meet you my friend, we should upload images of ourselves so that our friends got to know us more.
About this picture, it's a very classic double exposure shot this is.
What I like most is the color tone of the image. It gives me a very warm feeling and makes me feel at home.
Thanx for sharing your picture my friend, best regards,
Khaled.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 11/26/2004
You are most welcome Khaled, and i am glad that you liked it, i was a little hesitated about the colors and tones, but i was thinking .. hmm lets try and see the result, and i am glad that you like it, Regards,

al Farrob   {K:4081} 11/27/2004
What a wizard :))
Well done

Larry Hammond   {K:16631} 12/22/2004
Well Ameed, I really like this fire story and your rendition of it. Not sure if you are teaching Judi these things, or is she teaching you---both the PS work and the play with words my friend??

Larry

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 12/23/2004
Dear Mr. Hammond, Thanks allot for your kind compliment, comparing my work with Judi is a real honor, of course she is the champ .. i am only doing my best to approach her skills and technique .. but it is harder than what i thought :) i will keep doing my best, thanks once again for your kind words,
