About
Fells Point is an old shipbuilding section of Baltimore City, located a couple of miles from downtown. It is rich in history, has beautiful old cobblestone streets, and many of the same taverns and saloons that existed 150 years ago. A very cool place to hang out in, for a day (or night). Yes, I photoshopped this, to give the "painting" look. This effect offers a better representation of this historic area better than the original photo did. Hope you like!

It?s a very cool effect you got Brad with this PS work. For me it?s like a impressionistic image...
Lovely atmosphere and absolutly i would stop there for a drink! :)

Boy, I really loven the color on this one - untill I "supersized" the image I could not tell it had benn "painted". I was drwn to the color and the way folks seemed to be cramming themselves into this seeminly warm and inviting place -- well done. K

Quite amazing how the thumbnail gives no inkling to the PS manipulation. The colours are deep, vivid and reminiscent of another era. The impressionist style you applied, the outdoor board menu, the person sitting on the old wooden stool and the ornate building trim all have the vintage quality that conveys the historic area.

The first thing to pop into my head was..."where everybody knows your name..." You've captured a cool moment, the colors are so warm and inviting as I am sure this place is judging by all of the people. Very cool~

Hi Brad,

This is a wonderful tableau that really gives an authentic feel for this part of town. The lighting you captured is so expressive. Photoshopping like this can be very iffy, but this is really superb.

Best regards,
SteveR
