I think the original crop gives more importance to her expression, mabye just because out of focus and dark. More balanced.
In the second the light of left bottom angle seems to deconcetrate.

I like the angle here and the crop.. gives a feeling she is taking the photo herself (if you look at her arms)! Very good expression also.. cant say if she is happy or sad... perhaps abit shy? Very interesting image.. =) The second version is like a complete different photo.. more sensual and intim.. i like that one as well =))
